Goodbye School, Hello Summer

Goodbye 1st grade!!! Hello, summer and 2nd grade in the fall.

I can’t believe today is the last day of school! Time flew by so fast. My mind is blown because it still feels like yesterday my daughter started 1st in a mask. Now, here she is on her last day without a mask.

I’m so grateful she had a feeling of normal by the end of her school year. Correctly … her first full year of in-person school.

My daughter struggled in the beginning because she talked too much and had a hard time being back in class. By the end of the year, she became one of the top students in Math and improved her reading level from a B/C to a J! She took learning to the fullest and then ran with all the knowledge. I couldn’t be more proud of her.

My daughter ever got picked for a 1st-grade choir. She loved performing in front of the school. Her heart has a soft spot for all kinds of Arts. She’s my shining star.

I loved seeing her fold into this incredible older girl this school year. She truly made the best of being in person.

Thank you to all of her teachers for helping my daughter have a wonderful and successful year. I appreciate every single one of you more than you will ever know.

Thank you for the PTO and all the fun events I got to attend this year. I enjoyed working at the book fair and field day. Can’t wait to see what fun events next year has during the year.

I can’t wait for more years of elementary school!!! 💙🤍
