I can’t believe you’re 6 years old today. Where did the time go? You’re growing up too fast. It still feels like you were just born yesterday. But no … you’re 6!
Look, I know this year is different and a party isn’t happening this year. I wish I could magically change this year for you … even if it is for just a day. I can’t and don’t have that power. If only, I could wish upon a star to make this all go away.
I promise I will make this a great birthday. The pandemic may be here but it does mean your birthday is ruined because it’s not. You’re still turning a year older. It doesn’t matter what’s going on in the world. Your birthday is still here!
