1) Honor your mom in Heaven.

Your Mom may not be alive to psychical celebrate with you, but she still honor her life and all she did for you during her live. It’s obviously not the same. But it’s what you have right now and you have to life in the now rather than the past. Your Mom would appreciate it.

2) Go visit her grave in the cemetery.

The best way to celebrate your Mother’s Day would be to visit your Mom’s tombstone. You can get flowers and decorate the ground around it. She would love to look down from Heaven and see the flowers in her honor.

3) Surround yourself around people you love.

It’s better to spend time with love ones than alone. You deserve to laugh and smile on Mother’s Day even if you don’t want to socialize. Getting out will always pause your thoughts for a little bit. Of course, seeing others with their Moms may be painful, but try to focus on the people around you trying to help you.

You may want to look at old photos so her face is fresh in your mind. Her face may make you cry, but it’s better than forgetting what she looks like. You don’t want to forget because that’s the worst thing you can do.

6)!Watch a movie your Mom’s favorite movie.

A great way to celebrate watching her favorite movie. You remember why she loved the movie so much and have a good memory of her smile.

7) Make her favorite food.

Try to whip up her favorite dish. Enjoy the taste of what she likes and remember why she loves it so much.

Mother’s Day doesn’t have to be draining if you do these seven days and let yourself life. Your mom would want you to her instead of destroy you. She doesn’t want you to dead inside with her. She wants you to live. She wants you smile and laugh. She wants you to enjoy life!
